Neverwinter-Nights.de creates new meeting point for the German
NWN-Community
Imovecanada TORONTO movers local and long distance moving.
The team from Neverwinter-Nights.de
and numerous other members have gathered themselves to create a central
meeting point for German Neverwinter Nights players. With the upcoming new
section of the no.1 German NWN-Infopage, Neverwinter-Nights.org
is planned to be the place for mod-designers to promote and host their
creations. But this is just the beginning! Because a website with tons of
information is not as impressive as a new world.
For this reason, we've started earlier this year with the concept of
building a persistent world ourself.
Our working title is Project: Townsfolk.
Features:
- The idea of the Project is to create a Multi-Server-Online-World. It
will be a city in the forgotten realms, which is spread over 3 servers.
The servers will be up and running 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
- We will focus on bringing the players together. Giving them a place
to gather for new adventures, a place to meet new players and tell the
tales of the past, and last but not least a place for Living.
- By this definition, the city will be populated with NPC characters,
that will keep the market place, the taverns and other locations
running. But we'd like to give more control to the players then this.
It will be possible to rent apartments and stores inside the city
walls.
- Another main feature in this context is the possibility for guilds
to build their own guildhall and to become a main factor in the social
and commercial city life. Huge guilds, that need more place then we
can offer may bring their own server online and we would link it with
a portal into the city.
- The city itself will be offering numerous subquests, that are taking
place in- and outside the city walls.
- The modules hosted by Neverwinter-Nights.org
can be linked to the city, creating a starting point for new
adventures...
